Jadore Tong was born in 1970 in Weimar and grew up in West-Berlin. He strongly get influenced from the artistic activities of his parents, his father a musician who played instruments like the violin, piano but mainly the drums and his mother a poem writer and painter.His first graffiti piece was made in 1987 in the streets of Berlin. With his big love for all artforms he started early as well to put his inspirations on canvas. His artworks connect painting with different art techniques like spraycans, brushes, tape and stencils. Sometimes he realizes his ideas in a bold and minimalistic way and sometimes in a more impressionistic and dreamy way. Working once under the pseudonym Syrus (Save Your Rich Untouchable Soul 2003), he started spontaneous projects like limited shirt designs, sculptures and installations emerge. He is always looking for a challenge and his works range from collages on canvas to tape art installations and 3D art objects to mural artworks in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district.
